Topic: httpd taking all bandwidth

Hello,
I'm fairly new to *nix but something is killing my server.  I'm running 5.5 new install and for some reason, httpd is taking up all the bandwidth.  People outside aren't even able to ping the server.  I shutdown httpd, bandwidth returns to normal.  I've looked at /var/log/messages but don't see anything special.

PLEASE HELP!

never mind.  I found the problem to be a specific ip that's slamming my site.
