Topic: Something Killing PORT25

Hi,
We are experiencing some bizarre things here, since Friday Feb 28 2003.
Problems getting e-mails out with attatchments over 1.5MB even though we have PHP.INI set for larger values.
Anyway today was the worst.
All of a sudden we could not send or recieve any mail at all, regardless of how many times the server was rebooted.
Anyway we determined that port 25 was closed.
Shut the server down one more time, and rebooted, and things are working again no, but we need some help figuring this out.

Have you check your /var/log/messages?
Need more info. Sounds mail server down thu.
