Topic: Can I Bypass squid

Hi,
Is there some way in SME 6 to bypass or turn off squid, so that users still have internet access?
I am in urgent need of such a solution.
Currently squid seems to be broken and i would like this, just to get things going again (everything else is ok- just no internet access)

here are the commands:

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop squid Transparent no
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event remoteaccess-update

What type of errors are you getting in the /var/log/squid/cache.log file?
