hello i have installed SME on my AMD Athlon Thunderbird 750Mhz with 256MB ram, 13 gig seagate drive (no partions on before installation), 2 PCI ethernet cards, DVD rom and a voodoo 3000.
now when i boot for the first time after installation i get this:

i have been told that it is meant ot be the LILO and that something is stopping it from loading. i also have this problem on another AMD based system.
kernel panic: no init found. try passing init= option to kernel.
whats wrong!?!?!
