Hi, I have just upgrade an SME from 5.1.2 to 5.6 with update 2. Now one of the client PCs hangs when accessing a java applet via VPN. The VPN is initiated on an WinXP machine and shared from there. SME is setup in server and gateway mode. I have performed this step many times (following the upgrade readme) and have not encountered any problems.

The VPN connects fine and the customer can connect to the site. It seems only to "lockup" IE when accessing the java applet. The site administrator believes the problem lies at this end. I have no knowledge of netfilter, so any help would be appreciated.

The errors I found in the log are below:

Apr  3 10:55:50 gateway masq: Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.18-5/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_nat_pptp.o will taint the kernel: no license

Sorry all, I just found some posts addressing this issue. (I'm sure I searched for them before). There seem to be some people continuing to have problems though. Has anyone found a definitive solution?
