Apologies if this is a FAQ that I didn't find in my search.

I've only ever used SME with a single system HDD, but...

In the core SME distribution with dual HDD mirroring, what happens when one of the disks fails.  Is an alert generated and emailed? Do I need a contrib extension to be able to do so?
