After performing the maintenance functions, it will only appear once a month.  If you don't want it to appear at all, upgrade to the latest version of IMP, then you can set the options to not run the maintenance operations at all.

Thanks...

I googled a little and found this...

http://www.familybrown.org/howtos/imp321-upgrade.html

seems risky, so I'll keep it as it is!

Well, I don't think it's risky, but it is a change to the SME system.  It seems to be very stable on SME 5.6, though.

It works great for me. Dan's howto made it very a very simple process, I would't call it risky. I'm a newbie and all of the needed commands are there step by step.

Well, I upgraded with all files from your directory and something strange is hapening. There is about 20 workstations. Some can open webmail, some not. Do I need to upgrade PHP first or not? What else could be wrong? What templates do I need to expand? Is it enought to do

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event horde-update
?

Do I have first upgrade IMP and after that add other horde components, like kronolith (a calendar), nag (a task manager), and/or mnemo (a note/memo pad)? In particular kronolith do not work at all.

On SME 5.6, no, you don't need to upgrade PHP (or anything else other than what's specified in the HOWTO).  If there are other requirements, that would be a bug in the HOWTO, and I'd need to fix it (both of which are entirely possible, but it hasn't been reported yet).  The horde-update event should be enough to expand all the template fragments.  No, you don't need to upgrade IMP first.

Are you running SME 5.6?  If so, what's happening on the some workstations that can't "open webmail"?  In exactly what way does kronolith "not work at all"?

While on the subject, I thought I might bring this up.  I have upgraded IMP, turba, and added kronolith, mnemo, and nag on a 5.6U4 system.  All seem to work fine.... :-) thanks for the fine contrib.

However, I get this error when running the conf-kronolith action....

/etc/e-smith/events/actions/conf-kronolith
WARNING in /etc/e-smith/templates//home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/config/prefs.php/100prefGroups: Argument "tasks" isn't numeric in array element at /etc/e-smith/templates//home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/config/prefs.php/100prefGroups line 32.
ERROR in /etc/e-smith/templates//home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/config/prefs.php/100prefGroups: Program fragment delivered error <> at template line 31
ERROR: Template processing failed for //home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/config/prefs.php: 1 fragment generated warnings, 1 fragment generated errors
 at /etc/e-smith/events/actions/conf-kronolith line 37

Any thoughts...anything to worry about..

James, I've tracked down and fixed the problem (don't know why I didn't have it, though).  Updated RPMs will be in my contrib area tonight after about 2300 EDT.
