Thanx. I haven't but I will DL it now. I actualy have come across another PC a P2 350Mhz machine that I was hoping will do the job. I installed it briefly last night and it did dial but did not hold the connection. This was with a blak init string. I therefore pressume that there was some hardware that blocked or inhibited in the other computer.
It did not hold the connection though, but I am going to go through some strings to see if one will work.
It is realy confusing that I can Dial up on either modem if I plug them into my Red Hat box. Even in windows it has no problem. on the same box I installed IPCOP and it dialed. I then installed SME and it just sat there.
It is a shame Clark Connect does not support dial up or I at least try that.
Anyway gunna try it tonight and post my results tommorrow.
