I recently purchased a Maxtor hard drive as a replacement for the drive currently in my system, and with the new drive came a Maxtor Ultra ATA-133 controller card as a "bonus."
I was wondering if this controller card would work under SME server 5.6? I have heard that it is compatible with Kernel versions 2.4.7 and up, but I'm not sure about using it with this distro (I was unable to find anything more specific than 2.4...). It is an relabeled Promise 133 TX2 card, I believe.
