I have SME-server v. 6.0.
Want to share a folder containing movieclips and some other stuff.
Have enabled ftp, and it works fine, but now all users can acces their user folders from outside the local network.
I only want the one folder open for public download, all other parts of system i want restricted to local network.

Is that possible???
How???

Linux newbee, so please... keep it simple.

You don't. There is no version 6.0. There is only a beta release of 6.0, and you should only be using it to find problems and report them to smebugs@mitel.com. Please report your problem there.

Okay, assuming I have v. 5.6 then...

Hi Thomas
Questions for this forum are for released versions only 5.6 and prior.
Doing a search on your topic file sharing or webshare ALL DATES
might help you out (I.E.)
http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=17451.msg67960#msg67960
You will have to test and see if it works for you.
Cheers
