Topic: more (yawn) CGI

Okay,
Matt, Steve, anyone else, here we go.

I tried CGI's in my primary and they didn't work. I made an IBAY and got the same results. Yes, they were uploaded correctly and yes the correct permissions were set. Here is what I get in response to running the script. Two lines:

[error] (2)no such file or directory: exec of /home/e-smith/files/ibays/myIbay/cgi-bin/script.pl failed

I know that it's there

the other line

[error] [client ip] premature end of script headers: /home/e-smith/files/ibays/myIbay/cgi-bin/page-admin.pl


For you sticklers to detail out there (and you know who you are) forgive any typos or the myIbay thing, just trying to shorten things up.

Oh, and tell me what permissions you gave the file: what chmod command did you use?
