I have an e-smith 5.6 box that 4 shops access accross web as like an intranet server and pop3 email server.
At the moment 3 shops can access email and intranet and one can't.
The problem shop, can't even ping the server. The problem shop CAN surf the rest of the internet.
It seems like the e-smith box has decided to block access for the one shop. like an automatic firewall rule that was generated because it did not like something this client was doing...
Coninceidence or not.. I can tell you when it began to happen...
The other day I was 'playing' and in the problem shop.. when there wasn't a problem... I set the server to be my proxy server in internet explorer.. this meant every website I tried to access brought up the primary website on the e-smith box..
thats all i did.. then the problem started.. so i changed it back to no proxy and since about 4 days i cannot hit e-smith box..
and I cant look at logs from here cos I am in the problem shop today!
any ideas about what it could be ?
