External Web Hosting; internal e-mail server

In beta 4.06b, e-smith had the facility to direct requests to the home domain to an external (ISP's) server while receiving e-mail for that domain.

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place, but I can't find the same feature on final release v4.0. I'm sure its age, or just a late night, but would appreciate having directions to this very useful feature pointed out to me for v4.0.

If not in v4.0, then the modifications to squid configuration so that I may re-implement this feature on my server.

Thanks.

If I understand you correctly, then you want your server to receive mail for yourdomain.blah, but you want www.yourdomain.blah to be served by an external web server.

If so, there's nothing you need to do (other than set the domain of your server to yourdomain.blah), you just need to have your ISP correctly set up DNS for your domain, with your server listed as the mail exchanger (MX), and www.yourdomain.blah set to resolve to their web server.

I'm not sure how squid comes into play here.
