Hi Iv been having a bad week trying to get my 5.6 server to redirect its ftp to another machine i have in the house. I have 6 gig on my e-smith server and another 12 machines running on my local network. I want to be able to redirect all ftp traffic to a machine i have set up specifically for ftp. At the moment, when i get into my ftp server from inside or outside the local network, it goes to the default directory where ftp goes. I have gone through server manager (web based) and (from e-smith server) i have redirected from both of these tools, restarted the server, it takes the changes, but when i try to ftp, i get taken to the default ftp location, not to my ftp box. I have assigned the ftp box an address of 10.0.1.1 and want to get to the D drive. Can anybod help?????
