Topic: How can I know if cron.daily is working

It seems that the scripts inside the directoy /cron.daily in my E-Smith 5.6U4
are not working is there anything I can check?

create a script that only writes a few lines to the logfile.

if you can find these line in the logfile, the cron is working.
