Policy-based routing in SME

I've been reading a bit about policy-based routing in Linux....supposedly the router is able to actually examine the protocol running across the wire and put a stop to whatever traffic you don't want flowing....for example...Instant Messenger.  Has anyone gotten this type of thing to work on SME/E-Smith?  Is there an RPM or a how-to somewhere?  I'm running 5.6, but am willing to upgrade to 6 if necessary.

Your probably looking for the deny port addon. Installs a server manager panel then set to deny ports, Instant Messenger, Kazza, etc....
