I'd like to hear from folks using spamassassin on 5.6 or 60b3 and get a perspective on how you like it, what you specifically do or don't like about it, etc.
Thanks,
JB

I am using Spamassassin and Clam antivirus "sitewide" on 6 to tag all incoming mail then send all spam to a mailbox that I can monitor. So far no false positives

Running Spamassassin on 5.6. I personnally get about 100 spam mails a day and Spamassassin is catching 95 of them.Only 2 false positives in the 4 months it has been running. We have all emails forwarded to our salespeople's pagers. So the combination of Spamassassin and procmail has been great. When an e-mail
comes in it is checked by spamassassin. If it spam it goes to the persons junkmail folder. Everything else is forwarded to the persons inbox. And all emails
smaller than 25k in size are forwarded to the persons pager. This basically only sends e-mails to the pagers that are not spam and dont have attachments attached. Works like a charm Shane wrote:

While your testing SA, give Anti-SPAM SMTP Proxy (ASSP) a try. I've worked with both. SA is very good however I prefer the feature set found in ASSP. Details here:
Anti-SPAM SMTP Proxy contrib released!

Note, SA using procmail can only scan incoming. In 6.0B3 SA can be set to scan at the SMTP level. Details here:

Is it possible (and does it make sence) to install both?

Thanks for your information.
Went to your site to read about ASSP, clicking the link to contribs.org, I get nothing. Actually a DNS error. Is the site up and running still?
