Topic: Make a backup to dvd

Hello,

I have install e-smith-cd-backup-0.2-0.noarch.rpm.
But when i make a backup i get the follo message
"Error occurred while dumping mysql tables."

I run e-smith 6.3 beta.

Is there a working rpm to make a backup to dvd or cd-r/w.

The howto is written to create an iso, but you can burn directly to CD. I don't have a CD burner on my servers, but I know the RW is possible.

On the lists there have been mixed results with DVD, and the details are being sorted out. You probably need more current rpms and the right media/burner combo, but the howto will get you started.
