Topic: pppoe help please

Hi - tried to install pppoe to a new wireless service in Auckland, New Zealand. It gets as far as giving the password to the isp (according to their logs) then the connection hangs up. The only messages I get in the logfile is
PADS: Service-Name: ''
PADS: System-Error: Call disconnected (3)
write: warning: Input/output error (5)
Modem hangup  
Connection terminated.

The modem is an IPWireless modem and I can't establish what mode it is in but the isp says it works with roaring penguin.
Would greatly appreciate some help on this one.

I'm not much help, but have you connected the modem to a laptop and had a good look at all the settings? What type of modem is it? I've just setup pppoe on an ADSL service and my modem is in bridged mode.
