loading raid driver at boot during install

I need to load a device driver for a raid controller and I get to the text prompt  by putting capslock on prior to boot.  I get the boot prompt and type "accept dd" and then after loading and going to graphical interface it prompts for the device driver which loads, but it is too late to recognize the raid controller/drives and exits.  How do I load it at initial boot prompt?

Hi Sweyel,

If you get as far as SME's installer asking for the device driver, then your steps are correct. What isn't correct, is probably the driver you have for your controller.

Although SME is based on RH 7.3, it does not use the same kernel as the RH 7.3 you download from RedHat. It actually uses an updated kernel and that is why if you are using drivers for the normal RH 7.3, it will not work.
