I have 6, SME 5.6 boxes, and having the following situation.
All of them are configured exactly the same. But I cannot access through ftp n one of them.
My ISP already set a port fowarding to my ip, but I still cannot access.
I have configured my boxes with FTP accesss, normal usage, and have enable every ibay that I need to access remotely the proper configuration. This is happening only with one of my boxes, all of the others work just great.....
It looks like if the service was not started or somehitng but after checking, it is running.
It might be a corrupted file or something, cause this start happening after I installed the SpamAssasin......
This is also my main server.......
Any ideas........??????

I tried opening ports, reconfiguring FTP at the server-manager etc.....it seems that the box don't like the connection. When i try to connect to it usin command prompt, it reponds:
-connected to ######
-connection closed by remote host.

might be a virus?

Thanks anyway guys, finally I found how to fix it.
I install and RPM that came with SME update 6-02, that say something about FTP.......*.RPM..., and know it works.......

i presume then that at least 1 of your boxes had a different sme
version / level on it ?
