Topic: powstatd

Hello all

I have just installed sme6 stable and am having trouble getting powstatd installed.
Has anybody accomplished this on sme6?

Also I cannot find the latest builds of  Charlie Brady's powstatd-1.4.1-1.i386.rpm, can somebody tell me where it is now hidden.

I had already tried that but the dowmload links are dead.

Is there an alternative source.

Pick a mirror site near you from
http://www.e-smith.org/downloads/

and then look in the
contrib/CharlieBrady/RPMS/noarch
folder

There are no more files hosted on the e-smith site, they are all on the mirror sites now.

You need to be more specific about what trouble you are having installing powstatd.
Follow the HOWTO carefully and please report any issues you may have with installing it on v6.0.

Just finished install of powstatd on SME6 and all appears to work ok.

I have it running.

I think the original file I had was an earlier rpm version build or maybe corrupt.
