Newly installed SME 6.0u with 56K modem. As I am using a dial-up account, I only connect when required. In the past (SME 5.5) I just unplugged the phone connection to disconnect, and replugged to re-connect, with settings on continuous. I know there was a contrib that fixed manual connection & disconnection, but never got around to installing.
Now with SME 6.0u, even after plugging the modem back in, the only way I can get it to connect, is a system reboot. My Windows XP client computers also need to rebooted after server reboot to establish Internet access.
Can anybody advise of a module for SME 6.0u that controls modem connection & disconnection through web interface ?
