no qmailq
« on: September 01, 2000, 12:23:00 PM »
I have a problem with getting email from my ISP.
according to the messages it tries to execute a program qmailq in /var/qmail/bin/, but there is no such command on the whole server!

Outgoing mail is going fine aswell as internal mail.

An other question I have is about fetchmail.
I do not know if it is related to qmailq, but it does not fetch correct.
I tried to use fetchmail at command promt and it worked, but I did not use the /etc/fetchmail script but did it by hand.
How does e-smith use this script? (how does he execute it, I get an error that the righr are not correct)

When using fetchmail by hand, I saw that mail came in but it said that it was flushed.
Does this mean it ig gone? or just somewere on my server.
It did not enter the admin postbox.

thanks for helping me out.

The call to "qmailq" is a known and harmless bug. The only possible adverse effect would be some delayed outgoing email, in very unusual ccircumstances. It will be fixed in the next release.

If you are having problems, then the lack of qmailq is  not the cause of the problems.
