Yes, we all known about that drive "chatter" that goes on for 15 minutes after starting e-Smith. :=}
Tim is right. Just leave the e-smith machine running (like we all do). Remove the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. E-smith is designed for NON STOP (24 X 7) operation. That is the power of E-smith & RedHat Linux.
My home-office server is e-smith. It serves web pages, handle email for several people, and is the internet gateway for our home lan. Connection is DSL.
