dns problems

Hey Everyone.

I am having a problem with my dns server.  It apperently is sending my private ip address as my ip for my domain name  (inntech.org).   It is setup as a server only (no gateway, that is handled elsewhere).  Is there a way so that I can configure it to send my public IP (have 1 public IP for a bunch of machines.. using NAT.. you know the whole thing)..  my router is setup so that the machine IS seen by the internet (I can access the web server and stuff with the public IP, but not the name) :(  and also I can only seem to use that e-smith.inntech.org, not inntech.org.. not sure about that one either.

anyways, if anyone could pass along any hints it would be greatly appreciated..

Brian.

What address do you expect to be returned?

The e-smith server doesn't know about your NAT setup and you have
configured it as a server-only, which means it provides details to your
LAN and has very little knowledge about the outside world.

There is no single answer to DNS configuration - please see my previous
postings by searching the boards.
