Topic: Possible restore bug??

Hi there ..

Just wanted to report a problem we've had with the restore option in E-smith (not to sure if this has been reported or if there is a update for it??)

We had to reinstall our E-Smith server - we ran a restore from an backup - all seemed to be working fine except that the server was rejecting all mail for our users???

We would recieve a response from qmail that ....@whereever.com is not an existing user???

We resolved the problem by deleting & recreating the user accounts???

Also - is there a procedure for reinstallation???? Must you apply the patches/updates/addons before or after you restore your backup???

Update:
I think the problem wasn't with the restore of the user account but with the restore of the e-mail aliases.

Can anybody verifiy this?? Or does the backup option also include aliases??
