Hello Advanced Forum Users,

I was wondering a few things about the e-smith core fuctions (there located in /etc/e-smith/)

My First Question is, how did you setup the local network system
(like the perl that makes the e-smith-manager only work under
the local network) And How do you get rid of it. (I know the
security ramifications) I want to try to re-do them.
 
My Second question is, how would I make an ibay user (in FTP)
just like a regular user. (in the proftpd.conf it says ibay users
are treated like anonymus users) I know I have to touch the ibay
user template (I think?)

and could anyone point me to any helpfull perl tutorials
