Has anyone tried to run esmith and freeswan on the same server? If you have let me know how it turned out.
Freeswan (
www.freeswan.org
) is a server to server VPN.

I haven't heard of anyone doing so. It is something that e-smith is actively investigating, and we hope to offer it in a future version of the product.

I did some work unsuccesfully with it a few months ago. I think I was close but didn't have the time to invest in it.
What I have switched to that is working well for server to server VPN is "VPND". It is not a true VPN by definition but using the blowfish encryption with static addressing. I don't lose any sleep at night.
