Mailing from external systems

I get the following errors when I try to send e-mail from a computer not on my lan..

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'info@dvdshop.com.au'. Subject 'Form posted from Microsoft Internet Explorer.', Account: 'mail.e-smith.jass.mine.nu', Server: '61.9.148.41', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I can receive mail from my domain without problems..

Please help.

A search on this bulletin board for "rcpthosts" will provide an answer to your question.

So the answer is basically don't do it...
But I need to... I do not have mail services from the ISP as it is connection only...

Then I have an easy answer for you - install an e-smith server and gateway at you connection only access point. The e-smith server and gateway includes all the mail queuing and routing software that you need to do final deliveries.

Your other solution is to make use of some sort of VPN. The only VPN solution currently available for the e-smith server is openssh. With openssh on your server, and an ssh client on your computer and port 25 forwarding, you can use "localhost" as the smtp setting of your mail program, and safely deliver the mail via your remote e-smith server.
