Greetings from Africa.

I have installed E-Smith and love it.

Only one problem which I am prepared to pay a nominal free for NOT a years subscription.

Direct link to the internet running to Firewall running to e-smith.

Remote users can get access to server and receive mail, but not send mail to anywhere other than the local network.

Ideas?

Kind of found the problem for those who want to know.

Looks like a mail RELAY issue.

to do with the rcpthosts.

Need to setup the RELAYCLIENT environment in the qmail-smtpd file I think.

Anyway, if you have done this let me know.

No, you should not attempt to relay from outside the local network. The system is designed to block such relay attempts. Send mail locally wherever you happen be. Search this bulletin board for "rcpthosts" for more details.
