it appears that right now e-smith relyes on /etc/passwd to store authentication information about the user. is anyone working on pam-ldap for e-smith since there is a ldap server, also qmail could read the same information with a ldap patch. Or am I just not understanding how e-smith uses ldap and /etc/passwd today.
