Title: using squid proxy instead of nat
Post by: jason on December 21, 2000, 12:36:57 AM
Is there a way to turn off nat, and force people to have the squid proxy in their browser to be able to access the internet.  I have to go through my companys proxy server, and with nat enabled you can just use direct connection and bypass the squid proxy.  If so how.. can I just uninstall nat.. what will that affect.

there is a contrib file from Charlie on the ftp site for transproxy, this makes squid answer on the normal channels that nat uses and redirects then thru squid instead.
