I get tons of messages like the following in /var/log/messages:
Jan 30 15:21:03 server kernel: Packet log: denylog DENY eth1 PROTO=17 212.142.28.67:123 213.46.3.197:123 L=76 S=0x00 I=21042 F=0x0000 T=57 (#1)
213.46.3.197 That's me
212.142.28.67 Resolves to ns2.upc.nl, wich is a server at my isp.
Are they logging me or what?

pinging around and looking on the internet if found that:
-port 123 is the standard udp port for the network time protocol
-ns1.upc.nl is the same as ntp0.chello.nl, wich I selected as timeserver.
Still not understanding what the denials refer to...

No, you have encountered a bug in a beta release of the forthcoming 4.1 version of the e-smith server and gateway software. Please co-operate with us and discuss problems encountered with the beta release only on the developers mailing list, devinfo@lists.e-smith.org.
Thanks
