I'm looking for a good 20GB (+ or -) SCSI tape drive for my server. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Seagate and HP have excellent low-cost 20GB Travan TR5 scsi tape drives as well as excellent 12/24GB 4mm DAT drives. And don't forget that you can use an even lower cost Seagate or HP 20GB IDE Travan TR5 if you choose.

I presume the IDE tapes are internal? Are there any cheap external tape devices?
Also, how will the inclusion of webmail and MySQL affect the current backup facilities? I need to backup my machine, but I dont know if there is a single product or means that will do the job - ie. total backup including data, files, emails and database contents.
Thanks

Typically external tape drives are scsi but with the right hardware, and a little ingenuity, any internal drive, either ide or scsi may be converted to an external drive rather easily. e-smith 4.1 has a superb built-in backup facility using 'flexbackup' to perform a complete scheduled backup nightly.
