Yes I have.

You have to get your ISDN TA's AT command in the manual
and edit the 40dialup file in /etc/e-smith/temlates/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/chat-ppp0 accordingly.

I currently use a Dynalink ISDN TA and it is ATB4D"phone number" for single channel and ATB42D"phone number" for dual channel.

No, as has been repeatedly pointed out here, and as is well documented at http://www.e-smith.org/custom/, you should not edit any files in /etc/e-smith/templates, but you should edit the corresponding file under /etc/e-smith/templates-custom.

/etc/e-smith/templates-custom is for you to play with - /etc/e-smith/templates is for e-smith to play with. OK?
