Title: e-smith support for Multilink?
Post by: Laurence Griffiths on October 26, 2000, 05:30:21 AM
Does e-smith provide any support for multilink? - Multiple users on an in-house LAN making use of a proxy server which is in turn connected to the ISP via 2 or more modems.

No. Not at present, and it isn't on current development plans. But we would be happy to see a contributed module.

For some people this is a REALY important feature.

There are places where the cheapest leased line service is 50X the
cost of modem service ( $2400 vs $45 ).  ISDN is even *more*
expensive than that.

Since I live in one of those places, any help from the people on this
list wold be very valueble.  All I know so far is one word "EQL+".
