Hi there.
I have recently completed two fresh installs of 4.1 and in both cases the clients have their website hosted by their ISP, and are using dial up connections.
let's say their website was www.widgets.com.
If you type www.widgets.com then under 4.01 it would go to the external web site, hosted by the ISP.
under 4.1, www.widgets.com takes you straight to that wonderful "Welcome to XYZ corportation instead - in other words it is looking at the e-smith server (which I hadn't told to set up a site on yet), instead of going externally as it used to in 4.01
Incedentally, if you do an upgrade from 4.01 to 4.1 instead of a clean install, this problem does not seem to occur.
Help please!!
Many thanks,
Daniel Bingham

Hi,
and what to do when I have router. E-smith server is acting as a server only? I have site www.sisneta.lt in ISP server. Now in 4.1.1 I can not see it! I see only e-smith page! How can I change it?
In e-smith-manager, hostnames I try to delete host www, but I can not do that! The same is for ftp host...
Help!!!

Don't delete but modify and point to the correct external IP address
