Title: http 403 error when trying to access the e-smith-manager
Post by: Neal on April 03, 2001, 07:40:24 PM
Hi all,

I have recently been experimenting with the minterm SSH client. When I create a tunnel and try to access the e-smith-manager, i get a http 403 error. Now here is the big part, I try to access the e-smith-manager from within the localnetwork and now I get a Http 403 error there too.. I tried to access the text based browser on the e-smith box itself and that results in a similar error concerning permissions to a folder. Additionally i cannot browse the network with a 98 box.. Could this be an admin password issue? I have only four users on this box and one group.. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Neal

I reinstalled e-smith using the upgrade option.. It works now.

Thanks
