Title: how to get the blue screen?

I was just wondering how to get the starting blue screen?
what is the comand??

By which I assume you are referring to the 'e-smith console'???

Hopefully not 'the blue screen of death' as we termed Microsoft's GPF errors in the computer labs ... :>

This is something that is explained quite well in the e-smith manual, downloadable here in several formats (.pdf, .ps):

Just login to the machine using the 'admin' account and the administrator password you set during installation (same as root's password).

Its automatically configured to load up the console when logging in with that account.

NOTE: you don't have to login to the physical machine itself with this account, telneting to the machine from your local network will provide this same functionality.
