Title: phpMyAdmin & 4.1.2
Post by: Gerald Jansen on April 22, 2001, 09:58:11 AM
I did a clean install of 4.1.2 then installed rpm e-smith-phpmyadmin-0.2-3noarch.rpm. I looked up the new mysql password, then went to http://192.168.1.1:980/phpmyadmin The log on screen appears. However, user name "root" with the proper mysql password doesn't work. Has anyone out there had a similair problem with 4.1.2  TIA

Don't know for sure, but I think you're supposed to use "admin" with the e-smith admin password.

--just a note, i am trying to install phpMyAdmin; I have D/L the rpm and try to point the browser to the same port you mentioned, to no avail...I am sure I'm missing something here, please advise.

NOTE*
I installed from the rpmfind.net site. this found me the same noarch.rpm with out the e-smith prefix...would this matter, and where is the same rpm you installed?
