Title: POP3 & E-Smith 4.0
Post by: Luiz on November 08, 2000, 10:44:29 AM
Great server.
I want to start using E-Smith but am not sure if it will work with my ISP's POP3 implementation. I have been told to use ETRN but my current setup is POP3.

I have an account that has 15 alias and I have to use 1 login to retrieve this information. Is E-Smith 'bright' enough to handle this, and sort the different users.

If so I will do the install today.

Thanks.

Yes, e-smith has that option in the config panel, just choose ETRN and then setup the user and password to login to the account.

Probably should setup the users first so when it starts getting mail it will have someone to deliver to.  You can set it to deliver unknowns to an admin account or to bounce them.
