Title: No EMails for Users
Post by: Jens F. on May 14, 2001, 03:45:07 PM
Hi,

I am using E-Smith 4.1.2.

As I have have to fetch my mail from my ISP I have to use fetchmail to receive it.
For sending I use qmail.

Sending over the webinterface works fine. Receiving the mails looks ok as well (no errors in the log-file, fetchmail status massage do not show errors as well, the isp email account is empty after fetching).

The problem is, that the received e-mails do not appear in webmail. It look like they are not forwarded to the correct accounts.

Do I have to tell fechtmail the domainname of the local server?

I use the .fetchmailrc to configure it.

Any hints?

Jens

hi...

maybe it's a config prob... you should have a username instead of * in /etc/fetchmail
looks like this:

username password to here

greetinx
