Help!

Hi,

I figured out that I forgot to use the helo command first in the smtp session. I still don't know why mail isn't coming in though. The ETRN command goes through fine, but there are no messages in /var/log/maillog, or in /var/log/qmail/* afterwards. I can see the send and receive lights going, but nothing happens.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
Alex

Have you checked the known bugs list? There was a problem with smtpfwdd not being restarted after an upgrade, in which case your mail will be collecting in /var/spool/smtpd/spool/.

Hi,

I don't think it's that, because the mail never left the ISP server. I'll still check though.

Thanks,
Alex
