Can i dial-in to my e-smith box and at the same time the dial-up to my ISP is active?

yes I think so - look up the howtos for allowing remote dialin access

howto did not mention that a dial-in connection can also access the web and it didnt mention of having both the dial-up and dial-in running/active the same time. how about the modem? if i have both running then i need to have two modem installed right?

yes, one modem for dialin and one for your internet connection.  I don't see why it should be  a problem but  then I haven't tried it - maybe someone else who has could chime in with confirmation at this point?

Dunno.. but you could try reading the ISP howto.... it's got info on settting this up and may be relevant to E-Smith.

There is a e-smith-dial-in rpm written by Stephen Noble that deals with this. I do suggest however, that you look at copying files across manually from the RPM as the permissions are wrong - they stop the e-smith-manager from working...
