Hi all,
I have another crazy configuration needed. Here is the situation. We have E-smith running as a Gateway/Firewall for our network which has an Win2000 server running web & email. I've configured port-forwarding on e-smith to forward ports 25,110 & 80 to the internal Win2000 box. Now we need to host some extra domains, and I need to configure the E-smith as follows.
I would like to host mail & web for domain abc.com, def.com & ghi.com on the e-smith. I was inteneding on configuring virtual domains for the above. I would like to have domains uvw.com & xyz.com forwarded to the win2000 box.
Is this possible. We have a single permanent IP address running on ADSL.
Help please.
Thank you....

Here is my standard, "Is this possible" asnwer --> yes. Now the tricky part.
You will have to remove your port forwarding and return to default settings. Next for your e-smith hosted domains simply do the standard virtual domain setup. For your forwarded domains to W2K you will have to implement Apache and Qmail customizations. As I mentioned, a little tricky to set up but can be done.

Thanks so much Darrell,
I had a feeling it would be possible, however can you point me into the right direction of customising Apache and Qmail??
Andrew.

Andrew,
I can't help with qmail, but for Apache, have a look at http://www.linuxfocus.org/English/March2000/article147.shtml. There are also some threads in th archive which cover this (in which I was able to do what you're trying).
