Title: Remounting harddisk from previous server
Post by: Thor Anthrax on July 04, 2001, 01:58:51 AM
I had a running server with E-Smith 4.1.1 I shut the system down, remove the second SCSI-harddisk from the system and reinstall E-Smith 4.1.2. I put the harddisk back and want to mount it again.

[root@broe1452 /root]# mount /dev/sdb1 /download
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1,
or too many mounted file systems

What is going wrong here, and how do I get all the data back that's on the disk?
