Title: ssh error

Hi,
 I am using the putty ssh program to connect to my server remotely.
I am getting an "unable to open connection: connect(): unknown error"

could someone tell me how to fix this

Its seem that my server is not talking to my cable modem.
I call the Isp and they said they are getting good responce from it.
Is there any think that I can check to see what is going on ?
