I've successfully installed the MP3 Apache mod, however, I'm not having any luck streaming the files, either in Linux or in Windows with Winamp.
I can click on fetch, and it will download the file just fine. But when I click on stream , it will open the file in Winamp, but then won't play. The ID3 tags in Winamp look right.
I've opened the directory up, you can see it at http://silwenae.net/music (no WWW, haven't figured that out yet either)
Any help you can give me here, or via email at silwenae@silwenae.com would be appreciated. I did a search on the forums, is it the MIME problem that was in an earlier thread?
Thanks.

try accessing from a different pc or reinstalling winamp- it sounds like winamp isn't responding correctly.

Playing around with it more, looks like it's a problem in my setup somewhere.
For some reason, www.silwenae.net doesn't work, but silwenae.net does.
Winamp is trying to stream the files from www.silwenae.net, so I'm guessing it's related to that. :/
Any ideas on where I went wrong that the www part isn't working?

Funny, www.silwenae.net works fine for me. I can't test the streaming, though, as my Windoze box is down and my Linux box doesn't handle mp3. This would, in general, be a problem with your DNS service; I see that is handled by dyndns.org. Are you sure the wildcard is turned on?

Figured it out about an hour ago, sure enough, the CNAME for the "www" part wasn't there, even though dyndns.org say it's done automatically.
Thank all for the help!
