Title: virtual domain e-mail.
Post by: David on August 14, 2001, 02:10:19 AM
Hi,
I got a problem with the virtuaal domain e-mail. I created a virtual domain xxxx.com from e-smith manager, and I can ping the mail.xxxx.com, it indicates the mail.xxxx.com pointing to my e-smith server. There are several user accounts have already been created, one is info. But when I try to send a e-mail to the info@xxxx.com, the mail was bounced back, and the error message said:

Unable to deliver message to the following address(es).
:
Sorry, I couldn't find a mail exchanger or IP address. (#5.4.4)

I have two virtual domains one the same server, xxxx.com and xxxx2.com, I set them to the same configuration. While the xxxx2.com works fine. I don't know what's going on here. Can someone give me a hint on how to detect and solve the problem?

Set up an Alias to info.xxxx.com if you don't create an alias it does not know which mailbox to route to.
